Acts 2:42 (NIV)

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

This is a pretty good picture of how the fellowship of members in the Church ought to be. They study to learn the doctrines of the faith. This is part of their unity, a common belief. They have fellowship with one another by dining together and praying together. So is this what we see in the church today?

John 13:34-35 (NIV)

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
