Matthew 18:10 (NKJV)

"Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

In the kingdom of God, all are important, even the least. I love the way this verse depicts the importance of the "little ones." Their angels have direct and continual access to God. Jesus even praises God for having hidden the secrets of the kingdom from the wise and learned having revealed them rather to babes. I don't know whether this "little ones" refers to children or by way of example to new born Christians. Either way, it speaks of the fact that to gain admission to the kingdom, you must become as a little child and that speaks volumes.

Matthew 11:25 (NKJV)

At that time Jesus answered and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.
