The impact of words

Mark 12:17 (NKJV)

And Jesus answered and said to them, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's." And they marveled at Him.

Have you ever known someone who always seemed to know the right things to say? No matter the situation, be it difficult or awkward or even pleasant, they seem to have an easy time with words.

Jesus was sparring with the Pharisees who were always trying to trip Him up. But they were always frustrated by his brilliant and penetrating replies.

I am praying that God will give me the mind of Christ, so that I might be able to always impart words of grace to those I speak with.

Ephesians 4:29 (NKJV)

Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
